After opening the new subsidiary PE Australia PE's experts for sustainability started their activities "down under". PE Australia's Director, Simon Whitehouse, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Alternative Transport Energies Conference in Perth in September 2006. Fellow Director, Dr. Michael Faltenbacher contributed to the Conference with a presentation on the ecological evaluation on future transport fuels.

The next step in the development of PE Australia will be a two week road-show in late September covering Perth, Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. The company, as well as the concept of Life Cycle Engineering and its variety of possible applications will be introduced to industry representatives and many Government and non-government organisations.
