Climate change, climate protection, CO2 reduction as well as respirable dust, speed limits and environmental zones in the cities are currently in the focus of the media and in political discussions. In this context the role of the public transit bus is challenged. With the help of PE INTERNATIONAL, VDV arranged a scientific study about promising fuels and drive concepts for regular public buses. The results show clear trends and offer a well funded support within the strategic planning of the provision of vehicles.
