New Release: GaBi lite – the easy way to LCA
The importance of Life Cycle Assessment in product development is intensifying. An increasing sensitivity to environmental questions and economic efficiency is setting the bar very high.
GaBi lite is a software that meets these challenges and offers a simple way to calculate life cycle results in order to make LCA easier. Using pre-defined paths, it is application-oriented, clearly laid out and therefore ideal for beginners to conduct individual or comparative LCAs of products or processes at a basic level.
The GaBi lite assistant guides the user every step of the way through to the results. Specialised knowledge of complex LCA modelling is not necessary. Users are not inundated with unnecessary menus and func-tions in order to undertake a basic LCA. The assistant can also be switched off to allow for a more flexible workflow.
GaBi lite has been developed on a foundation of solid expertise in LCA, database building and software development. This has made it possible to reduce complex features in just the right places, leaving a concise and streamlined beginner’s tool for simple LCAs. Another benefit: models created in GaBi Lite can be edited in the powerful GaBi 4 software later on – just by upgrading the license – thereby losing nothing from the GaBi lite work!
