CILCA 2009 – III Int. Conference on Life Cycle Assessment

 

April 27 to 29, 2009 in Pucón, Chile

CILCA 2009 will focus on how local and regional business initiatives, and global policy measures regarding sustainable consumption and production, open opportunities for using LCA and Life Cycle Thinking in Latin America.

The conference will seek to further boost the exchange of experience and expertise of various specialists. Particular emphasis will be placed on methodological tools and other key issues in adopting the Life Cycle Approach as part of the decision-making process in industry. Implementation of cost-effective sustainability strategies, while ensuring the competitiveness of products and reconciling the economic, social and environmental aspects, will also be key.
