PE CEE is founding member of the "Österreichische Gesellschaft für Nachhaltige Immobilienwirtschaft" (ÖGNI)

 

To spread and promote the goals of “Sustainable Building” within the construction and property sectors, ÖGNI was established as an NGO in April 2009 chaired by initiators Gunther Maier and Philipp Kaufmann of the Business University of Vienna (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien). The PE CEE is also a co-founder of this initiative.  In cooperation with the DGNB (German Society for Sustainable Building) a building certification according to sustainability criteria, which has already been executed in Germany, will now be adjusted for Austria. Planned to accomplish in the future is an EU-wide building certification according to this schema. In autumn the first office and administrative buildings in Austria should already be able to obtain an ÖGNI Certificate.
