LCA modelling of local, regional and national energy systems including extraction and processing of primary energy carriers, energy conversion, distribution technologies and usage in transport and stationary applications
Particular experience in the oil & gas sector; upstream as well as downstream
Expert in LCA methodology, ILCD format and scenario analysis
Responsible for maintaining the GaBi life cycle inventory database for energy supply chains
Development of worldwide used and accepted Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) data sets on energy systems, delivered to the European national database (ELCD), Brazilian national database, Malaysian national database, and German national database
Project coordinator of the European Commissions’ funded project “ELCD II - Enhancement of the ELCD Core Database", and the FCH JU Project FC-HyGuide
Member of the German Society for Petroleum and Coal Science and Technology
