Over 14 years experience in environmental management with focus on LCA.
Particular experience in the transport and energy sector as well as in the field of consumer goods.
Focus on methodological questions and relationships to Greenhouse Gas Protocol Initiatives (WBCSD/WRI), ISO 14044/64/67, PAS 2050 French Grenelle etc.)
Member of the TWG of the ongoing WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol Initiative on supply chains and products, with an official mandate from United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP/SETAC).
Selected as an expert in the development of the German Carbon Footprint initiative.
Member (7 years) of the founding team of the Swiss Life Cycle database ecoinvent.
Organization of various workshops, trainings on the issue of carbon management (e.g. Marcus Evans Master Classes).
Research Activities in the Swiss Climate Research Network (NCCR-Climate)
Author of various peer reviewed papers in well established journals.
Environmental engineer with a master degree from the Technical University of Berlin and a PhD from the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule, Zurich (ETHZ).
