The closing the loop and recycling are critical factors in nearly all branches of business management today. The cost of disposal alternatives, the enlarged product responsibility and compliance with requirements and directives for a product's End-of-Life (EoL) treatment (e.g. ELV, WEEE, battery take back or packaging waste directive) are areas of conflicting interests.
