Lecture on applying EPDs is now available as download
On the 29th of April 2009 a workshop about environmental declarations for construction materials (EPD) according to ISO 14025 took place in the Ökohaus in Frankfurt. The strong interest for the building and real estate industry in this topic is represented by the great number of participants being more than 70 people. Apart from the lecture of Hans Peters, the manager of the Institut Bauen und Umwelt e.V. (IBU) which organizes the audit and publishing of EPDs in this country, the lecture of Anna Braune, building expert of PE INTERNATIONAL, had drawn special attention. The lecture on applying EPDs in the German certification system for sustainable buildings, the German seal of approval for sustainable building, is now available as download.
