Rolling friction of vehicle tyres.	By means of a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) conventional tyres were compared with a newly developed tyre. The tyres vary in their fillers; the conven-tional tyres are filled with carbon black, the new tyres with silicic acid/hydrosilicon.	The LCA supports the decision-making process in the search for the favourable product. Selling points are identified and, simultaneously, environmental impacts are reduced.
