The International Conference EcoBalance is organized every two years by the Institute of Life Cycle Assessment, Japan (ILCAJ).

Setting life cycle assessment (LCA) as the core concept, EcoBalance is recognized as one of the world’s premier conferences for academic, industry and governmental professionals as a forum for the discussions on environmental performance evaluation, disclosure of the evaluation results, and the development and implementation of its methods.

PE INTERNATIONAL at EcoBalance 2012

PE INTERNATIONAL is once again a speaker at the tenth edition of the internationally recognized LCA conference EcoBalance with this year’s topic being "Challenges and Solutions for Sustainable Society". Dr. Martin Baitz, an internationally renowned expert in LCA and databases, will speak about theory and practice of LCA in industry and academia, the differences between best practice and the latest applied methodological approaches, and critical success factors. Also, he is invited to chair the break out session on Impact assessment, risk assessment and interpretation. As an international advisory member, over the years he has assisted in developing and shaping the conference context.
